In commemoration of National Tree Planting Day on November 28 and National Tree Planting Month in December, PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk (“WIKA”), together with PT Wijaya Karya Realty (“WIKA Realty”), carried out a tree-planting initiative titled “One Hundred Trees, One Step to Preserve the Environment and Cultural Heritage” at Tamansari Laswi City.

This initiative involved the planting of 100 trees across a 20-hectare area, comprising 13 different species, as part of WIKA and WIKA Realty’s commitment to implementing Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles. The tree planting activity reflects the realization of one of the key ESG pillars—the environmental aspect—by contributing to carbon emission reduction and supporting environmental sustainability.

Objective:

To promote environmental conservation, cultural heritage management, and sustainable development. This initiative aims to create a positive impact on the environment surrounding Tamansari Laswi City and serve as a catalyst for similar efforts in other regions, fostering synergy between nature and cultural preservation.
