Jakarta, February 28, 2025 – In celebration of its 65th anniversary and in support of the green economy, PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk (“WIKA”) carried out a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program by planting 6,500 productive trees across 65 operational locations. PT Wijaya Karya Realty (“WIKA Realty”) also participated by planting 95 trees at Tamansari Swarna, Palembang, and Wyndham Tamansari Jivva Resort, Bali, on Friday (28/02). A symbolic tree-planting ceremony at Tamansari Swarna was led by Rahmandika Wijaya, Realty Manager, while at Wyndham Tamansari Jivva Resort, the ceremony was led by Fransiska Handoko, General Manager.

Corporate Secretary of WIKA Realty, Saskia Ayu Megananda, stated that this program aligns with the achievement of SDG 13 (Climate Action) and SDG 15 (Life on Land) by enhancing carbon absorption and biodiversity. This initiative is also in line with the company's commitment to building a sustainable environment and improving the quality of life for communities.

Beyond environmental benefits, the selected trees were chosen for their ecological and economic value, creating a comfortable microclimate and potential benefits for local communities. This initiative strengthens the synergy between environmental conservation and community economic empowerment.
