Jakarta, August 15, 2025 — To enliven the celebration of the 80th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia, PT Wijaya Karya Realty (“WIKA Realty”) held a series of “Senam Merdeka” (Independence Exercise) activities filled with enthusiasm and togetherness. The event included the launch of the WeStay app, group exercise sessions, traditional Independence Day competitions, and free mini Medical Check-Ups (MCU). Earlier, WIKA Realty had also organized a blood donation drive as part of the Independence Day celebration series.

Held at the Blue Ocean parking area on Friday (08/15), the event was attended by the Board of Directors, all WIKA Realty employees, and representatives from WIKA Group, with support from Best Western Premier The Hive, Anytime Fitness, and Mitra Keluarga Hospital.

In his remarks, Yoppi Priatmoko, Director of Finance, Human Capital, and Risk Management of WIKA Realty, stated that the “Senam Merdeka” supports WIKA Group’s Individual Health Development Plan (IHDP) program to improve employee health. “The launch of the WeStay application, coinciding with this independence celebration, strengthens WIKA Realty’s commitment to delivering housing and hospitality services that are accessible, practical, and modern,” said Yoppi.

The festive atmosphere was further heightened with various traditional Independence Day competitions, such as a cracker-eating contest, a team water-pouring relay, and a balloon-blowing game, which sparked laughter and excitement among participants. In addition, free mini MCUs from Mitra Keluarga Hospital were also available, covering blood sugar, cholesterol, and uric acid checks as a form of care for participants’ health.

Since early August, the celebration series had also been enlivened by the Tamansari Festival—an Independence Day bazaar featuring culinary delights, fashion, and handicrafts. Through this series of events, WIKA Realty hopes to strengthen bonds of brotherhood among employees, foster a spirit of nationalism, and bring positive benefits for participants’ health, happiness, and togetherness.
