Jakarta, September 30, 2026 — In an effort to provide firsthand technical insights and field perspectives to prospective young engineers, PT Wijaya Karya Realty (WIKA Realty) held a guest lecture titled "Developments in the Construction Industry and Professional Field Practices" at Tuguran Campus, Tidar University (UNTIDAR), Magelang, Central Java, on Wednesday (30/09).

Through this agenda, WIKA Realty featured Nur Huda Alfarizki, S.T., M.M., M.T., Production Staff of WIKA Realty, as the key speaker to share technical expertise and on-site experience with undergraduate students of the UNTIDAR Civil Engineering Study Program. The event was welcomed by the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering UNTIDAR, Prof. Dr. Ir. Gito Sugitanto, S.T., M.T., IPM., ASEAN Eng., and attended by faculty members as well as dozens of students.

During the session, Nur Huda highlighted the strategic role of the construction industry, which contributes around 10% to the national GDP and absorbs more than 8 million workers. The discussion also covered the implementation of professional project management that balances cost, quality, time, occupational safety, and sustainability, as well as project execution stages from initiation to final handover. Moderated by Mutia Gina Savira, S.Tr.T., M.Tr.T., the lecture proceeded interactively through two-way discussions, student Q&A sessions, an exchange of mementos, and a group photo session.

Corporate Secretary of WIKA Realty, Fianty Tristiany Triswara, explained that this guest lecture was conducted as part of the company's Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program. "This initiative reflects the implementation of WIKA Realty's TJSL program, particularly within the education pillar. We aim to continuously deliver sustainable positive impacts to society, one of which is by transferring practical industry insights directly to the academic environment," said Fianty.

Dean of the Faculty of Engineering UNTIDAR, Prof. Dr. Ir. Gito Sugitanto, S.T., M.T., IPM., ASEAN Eng., expressed his appreciation for the initiative and knowledge sharing. "We warmly welcome the presence of WIKA Realty professionals on the UNTIDAR campus. Direct learning from industry practitioners is immensely valuable in enriching students' technical understanding while providing a realistic perspective on professional working standards in the field," he stated.

As part of the TJSL program, this agenda aligns with the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4 concerning Quality Education.
