Commemorating National Tree Planting Month and Fulfilling ESG Commitment, WIKA and WIKA Realty Hold Tree Planting Action with 100 Trees at Tamansari Laswi City

Jakarta, December 5, 2024 — In celebration of National Tree Planting Day on November 28 and National Tree Planting Month in December, PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk ("WIKA") and PT Wijaya Karya Realty ("WIKA Realty") organized a Tree Planting Action themed “One Hundred Trees, One Step Towards Environmental and Cultural Heritage Preservation” at Tamansari Laswi City on Thursday (05/12).


The event was attended by Sumadi, Director of Risk Management and Legal WIKA; Hananto Aji, Director of Operations I WIKA; Andie Hermawan, President Commissioner of WIKA Realty; Mangapul Silalahi, Independent Commissioner of WIKA Realty; Fery Safaria, President Director of WIKA Realty; Yoppi Priatmoko, Director of Finance and Risk Management WIKA Realty; and Ronny Wuisan, Director of Marketing Property and Realty WIKA Realty.


The planting of 100 trees across a 20-hectare area with 13 species of plants symbolizes the implementation of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles by WIKA and WIKA Realty. Fery Safaria, President Director of WIKA Realty, emphasized the importance of environmental sustainability and social responsibility in preserving the earth while supporting sustainable growth. Hananto Aji, Director of Operations I WIKA, reiterated that this initiative reflects WIKA Group's commitment to ESG principles, particularly in the environmental aspect.


By organizing this tree-planting activity, WIKA and WIKA Realty reaffirm their dedication to environmental preservation, cultural heritage management, and sustainable development.
