Yogyakarta, August 30, 2025 — KHAS Tugu Hotel, under the management of PT Wijaya Karya Realty (“WIKA Realty”), officially held the Grand Opening of Piastory and Kopiastory on Saturday (30/08) at the KHAS Tugu Hotel Ballroom, Yogyakarta. The event was attended by the Representative of the Deputy Mayor of Yogyakarta, Mr. Roby Kusumaharta; Chairman of Kadin DIY, Mr. Marjiyanto; Head of Wirogunan Prison, Mr. Fery Safaria, President Director of WIKA Realty; R. Sigit Pramana, Cluster General Manager of KHAS Tugu Hotel; and Maulana Sofyan, Founder of Piastory.

In his remarks, Fery Safaria stated that the presence of Piastory and Kopiastory represents WIKA Realty and KHAS Tugu Hotel’s commitment to supporting local MSMEs while providing added value for guests—both through the convenience of obtaining authentic Yogyakarta souvenirs and tangible contributions to MSME products.

Piastory was born from stories of struggle and new hope, while Kopiastory, with the slogan “Taste That Brings You Back,” represents the dynamics of life through a variety of coffee selections. “Through our collaboration with KHAS Tugu Hotel and WIKA Realty, we believe we can reach more people while strengthening local MSMEs as part of Yogyakarta’s tourism ecosystem,” said Maulana Sofyan.

R. Sigit Pramana added that as part of service development, KHAS Tugu Hotel has also prepared various initiatives to add value for guests, including the opportunity to directly sample bakpia for free. He further noted that this concept is expected to deliver a more complete experience for tourists and will later be expanded to KHAS Malioboro Hotel so that even more guests can enjoy this creative collaboration in the heart of Yogyakarta.
