Bandung, September 28, 2025 — As a collaborative public space within the Tamansari Laswi City area, Laswi Heritage continues to strengthen its role as a hub for creative, educational, and professional activities. Managed by PT Wijaya Karya Realty (“WIKA Realty”), the area has become a preferred venue for various communities and institutions to collaborate — one of which is the 2025 West Java Architecture Week, an annual event organized by the Indonesian Institute of Architects (IAI) West Java Chapter, also known as *Architecture Without Walls (AWW)*, held on September 25–28, 2025.
Carrying the theme "Empowering Context,” the event featured a series of activities such as exhibitions, seminars, workshops, art installations, and a Heritage Walk and Tour. The event was officially opened by the Head of the West Java Housing Agency, Indra Maha, along with IAI West Java committee members and the 2025 AWW Chairman, Bimo Sukowijono.
During the event, Nohandika Anggadibowo, Realty Manager of Tamansari Laswi City, served as a speaker in the Talks 6: Heritage Workshop session. “It is the shared responsibility of developers and planners to preserve historical values so that heritage areas remain relevant to the needs of the public and commercial players. Moving forward, heritage spaces will continue to evolve as commercial areas that drive cross-sector economic growth,” said Nohandika.
The closing ceremony, held on Sunday (28/9), was attended by the Mayor of Bandung, Muhammad Farhan, who visited the design exhibition and officially closed the 2025 Architecture Without Walls event. The Mayor praised WIKA Realty’s efforts in managing heritage areas and highlighted the importance of collaboration among stakeholders in creating sustainable and inclusive public spaces.
WIKA Realty’s Corporate Secretary, Saskia Ayu Megananda, expressed her appreciation for the trust placed in Laswi Heritage. “We are grateful to IAI West Java for choosing Laswi Heritage as the event venue. We hope Laswi Heritage will continue to be a place for communities to collaborate and bring creative energy to the city of Bandung,” she said.
Through this event, WIKA Realty reaffirmed its commitment to developing public spaces that preserve cultural identity while creating sustainable economic opportunities for the city of Bandung.
