Jakarta, May 16, 2025 — In an effort to raise awareness about financial planning, the Srikandi (Women’s Empowerment Group) of PT Wijaya Karya Realty (“WIKA Realty”) organized a Financial Seminar in collaboration with Bank Syariah Indonesia (“BSI”) under the theme “Smart Money Management & Achieving Financial Wellness.” The event discussed tips and strategies for financial planning and investment. The seminar was attended not only by female employees but also male employees of WIKA Realty in a hybrid format on Friday (16/05), held at the Tamansari Room, Tamansari Hive Office, East Jakarta.

The seminar was officially opened by Fery Safaria, President Director of WIKA Realty, who expressed his appreciation for the initiative as part of the company’s commitment to promoting financial literacy in the workplace. “Sound financial planning is a key foundation for employee well-being, both personally and professionally. We hope this seminar provides practical insights that can be immediately applied in everyday life,” he said in his opening remarks. Meanwhile, Dede Irawan Hamzah, Funding & Transaction Business Deputy of BSI Region V Jakarta 2, highlighted the importance of collaboration between financial institutions and corporations in fostering financial awareness.

The seminar featured Luthfi Bukhari, Deputy of Retail Deposit Solution, as the keynote speaker. In his presentation, he provided a comprehensive overview of personal financial management, covering topics such as building an emergency fund, introducing hajj savings, understanding investment risks, choosing halal instruments such as sukuk and sharia mutual funds, and warning against the dangers of illegal online loans. “It is crucial for us to understand where our money flows — it’s not just about working hard, but also managing wisely,” said Luthfi. He also introduced various sharia-compliant financial products that can serve as safe and halal investment solutions for employees.

Through this seminar, WIKA Realty aims to enhance employees’ awareness of the importance of financial literacy in supporting life stability, while also encouraging them to become positive agents of change in their communities.
