Lombok, 27 February 2023 — One of the hotels under the auspices of a subsidiary of PT Wijaya Karya Realty (WIKA Realty), PT Senggigi Pratama Internasional (SPI), namely Hotel Merumatta Lombok is holding the Merumatta Coast Trail. The trail running event was held on Sunday (26/02) with a start and finish point at the Merumatta Senggigi Hotel, Lombok with 245 participants coming from 18 countries, including Indonesia.

This event was also attended by H. Fauzan Khalid as West Lombok Regent who delivered his remarks, "The Merumatta Coast Trail is the first trail event held on Lombok Island so that it can increase the value of tourist destinations and can encourage both domestic and foreign tourists to visit."

Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno, Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy appreciated Merumatta Hotel as the organizer of the Merumatta Coast Trail for participating in supporting the Indonesian tourism sector by showing the natural beauty of Lombok through the routes that will be passed in this event.

Merumatta Coast Trail is a trail running event that combines sports running and hiking with challenging paths. This race is divided into three different categories, namely 8 kilometers (8K), 15 kilometers (15K), and 25 kilometers (25K). All of these routes follow routes that allow you to see and enjoy the charm of Lombok's natural beauty, namely through beaches, rocks and hills. Several natural tourist attractions in Lombok that are included in the route are Senggigi Beach, Batu Turtle Peak, Rajengkunyi Peak, Mangsit Hill, Loco Peak, and Kerandangan.

The Merumatta Coast Trail event is a form of Merumatta Hotel in inviting the whole community to travel #DiIndonesiaAja through running and hiking competitions to show the charm of Lombok's natural beauty.
