Jakarta, April 2026 — PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk (WIKA) has once again organized the SOE Joint Mudik (Homecoming) program, sending off 407 travelers to Solo, Yogyakarta, Malang, Purworejo, and Surabaya. The departure utilized 10 buses; 9 buses were dispatched from the WIKA Tower Building in East Jakarta by WIKA's Board of Directors, while one additional bus departed from Gelora Bung Karno, Jakarta, alongside other state-owned enterprises.

PT Wijaya Karya Realty (WIKA Realty) actively participated in this initiative by sponsoring 53 employees and their family members through the complimentary homecoming facilities provided. Prior to departure, participants underwent free mini medical check-ups (MCU)—including blood pressure, blood sugar, and uric acid screenings—supported by Primaya Hospital and Columbia Asia Hospital. Additionally, travelers received complimentary hampers, travel meals, and essential medicines to ensure their comfort and safety throughout the journey back to their hometowns.

Saskia Ayu Megananda, Corporate Secretary of WIKA Realty, stated that the SOE Joint Mudik program aims to provide convenience, safety, and comfort for the community during the homecoming season, particularly helping those facing financial constraints or difficulties securing travel tickets. “Through this program, WIKA Realty hopes to assist the community in celebrating Eid with their families at home, while simultaneously contributing to the reduction of private vehicle usage to lower carbon emissions in the transportation sector,” Saskia remarked.

As part of the company's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) implementation, this initiative also aligns with the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically Goal 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities, by promoting collective transportation to reduce traffic congestion and enhance travel safety during the peak mudik season.
