Jakarta, August 23, 2024 — In an effort to celebrate the 79th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia, PT Wijaya Karya Realty ("WIKA Realty") demonstrated its commitment to social responsibility by organizing a blood donation drive in collaboration with the Indonesian Red Cross ("PMI") of East Jakarta, involving more than 90 participants on Tuesday (20/08) at the Florea Meeting Room, 3rd floor, Hotel Best Western Premier The Hive.

"WIKA Realty initiated the blood donation drive with the theme 'A Drop of Blood, A Million Hopes' as a part of our enthusiasm in celebrating Indonesia's independence. This social initiative is not merely a routine activity but a symbol of the true meaning of independence, where independence is fully felt when we can share and show genuine care for others," said Saskia Ayu Megananda, Corporate Secretary of WIKA Realty.

The blood donation activity was met with positive enthusiasm from the WIKA Group family and the general public, evidenced by the collection of more than 70 bags of blood. PMI East Jakarta expressed gratitude and appreciation for WIKA Realty's support in organizing this event and hopes that similar activities can continue in the future.

Previously, WIKA Realty had held blood donation drives in several of its managed areas and hotels, including Tamansari Grand Samarinda, Tamansari Metropolitan Manado, and Hotel Best Western The Lagoon. By organizing blood donation activities in line with its commitment to social responsibility, WIKA Realty consistently strives to continue making a positive impact on society through various humanitarian programs.
