Bandung, October 25, 2026 - Tamansari Laswi City—an area managed by PT Wijaya Karya Realty (WIKA Realty) and PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk., in collaboration with PT Ruang Digital Retronika (RDRASIA)—successfully hosted a recreational running event titled the Laswi Heritage Run 2026 on Sunday (October 25) at the Laswi Heritage cultural preservation site in Batununggal, Bandung.

The 5K run drew 6,000 participants, ranging from the general public to running community enthusiasts, who gathered to experience a course through Bandung's historic district, with both the starting and finishing lines situated in the heart of Laswi Heritage, Kacapiring. The route was mapped along the paved roads of the Batununggal corridor, lined with colonial-era heritage buildings. Beyond the runner-friendly course, participant comfort and safety were supported by clear route markings, an on-standby medical team, hydration stations, personal insurance coverage, and finisher medals for everyone who crossed the line.

The crowd gathered early in the morning, beginning at 5:30 AM WIB with the singing of the national anthem Indonesia Raya, a joint prayer, and a warm-up session to prepare the runners. The energy peaked as the official flag-off commenced at 6:00 AM WIB, sending thousands of runners out onto the 5K route. After completing the course by 7:30 AM WIB, participants were treated to a DJ Jamming set and various local culinary offerings, followed by a cooldown session featuring the Golden Memories stage and a group Zumba workout. The event concluded with a traditional Jaipong dance performance and a fashion show titled Heritage in Style, held in collaboration with Swastamita, which ran until 6:50 PM WIB.

The General Manager of Tamansari Laswi City, Agung Suranto, expressed appreciation for the runners' enthusiasm and the readiness of the venue's facilities, from the start-finish zone and parking areas to the local MSME food stalls. "It is incredible to see the energy of the runners today. The authentic heritage atmosphere paired perfectly with the participants' enthusiasm, making this 5K run a truly vibrant and memorable experience," he stated.
