Lombok, February 10, 2025 — Merumatta Senggigi Lombok, one of the hotels under PT Senggigi Pratama Internasional (“SPI”), a subsidiary of PT Wijaya Karya Realty (“WIKA Realty”), has been recognized for its outstanding event, Merumatta Coast Trail (“MCT”) 2025, winning the Best Regional Event Organizer Award as part of the Calendar of Events 2025.

This award, recognizing Merumatta Senggigi Lombok's dedication to hosting events that significantly contribute to the development of tourism and cultural promotion in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), was presented by Acting Governor of NTB, Hassanudin, and was received by Merumatta Senggigi Lombok's General Manager, Fahrurrazi, on Monday (10/02).

"This award further solidifies Merumatta Senggigi Lombok's contribution through MCT, which not only focuses on tourism development but also on sports while showcasing the natural beauty of Lombok to both local and international visitors," said Fahrurrazi. He also emphasized that the event creates a multiplier effect, supporting local SMEs and boosting the regional economy.

The Merumatta Coast Trail is a trail running event that combines the stunning coastal and hilly landscapes around Senggigi. With race categories ranging from 8K, 15K, 25K, to 50K (Ultra) and adopting the "coast-to-coast" concept, participants not only compete but also experience an exotic running route along Lombok’s coastline and lush green landscapes.

In addition to MCT, Merumatta Senggigi Lombok also hosts the Merumatta Half Marathon, featuring 5K, 10K, and 21K categories. With this achievement, Merumatta Senggigi Lombok remains committed to delivering innovative events in the future, further strengthening Lombok’s position as a premier sport tourism destination in Indonesia.
