Jakarta, 13 November 2025 – In commemoration of National Father’s Day and as part of the Individual Health Development Plan (“IHDP”), PT Wijaya Karya Realty (“WIKA Realty”) held a seminar titled “Celebrating the Role of Fathers: Understanding Feelings, Becoming an Inspiration” on Thursday (13/11). Supported by BRI Life Insurance and EMC Pekayon Hospital, the event—initiated by the Corporate Secretary and Human Capital Management Division—was attended by more than 150 participants, including directors, management, and all WIKA Realty employees. The seminar featured psychiatrist Dr. Eduardo Renaldo, Sp.KJ, as the keynote speaker.

The seminar was opened by Yoppi Priatmoko, Director of Finance, Human Capital, and Risk Management at WIKA Realty, who emphasized that understanding one’s emotions as men is equally important, as it fosters empathy, balance, and genuine strength.

In his presentation, Dr. Eduardo explained that many fathers and men often fall into toxic masculinity—the belief that men must always be strong, must not express emotions, and must succeed in everything. He also introduced the TIPP method (Temperature, Intense Exercise, Paced Breathing, Progressive Muscle Relaxation), a simple technique to calm oneself through cold exposure, short bursts of exercise, controlled breathing, and muscle relaxation. “Understanding your feelings is not a weakness; it is an act of courage that can inspire others,” he said.

Through this activity, WIKA Realty expressed its appreciation to all employees—especially fathers—for their dedication in balancing work and family responsibilities. The seminar also forms part of the company’s Social and Environmental Responsibility (“TJSL”) initiatives and supports Sustainable Development Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being), reflecting WIKA Realty’s commitment to fostering a healthy, supportive, and empathetic work environment.
