Jakarta, July 24, 2026 — In an effort to raise employee awareness regarding the importance of maintaining kidney health, PT Wijaya Karya Realty (“WIKA Realty”), in collaboration with Mitra Keluarga, held a Health Talk titled “Care for Your Kidneys, Care for Your Future: The Importance of Early Awareness of Kidney Disease” on Friday (07/24) at Nusantara Room, 12th Floor, Tamansari Hive Office, East Jakarta. The event was attended by WIKA Realty employees as part of the company’s commitment to promoting a healthy lifestyle and fostering health awareness.

The event was opened by Syauqi Nusuki, Vice President of Human Capital Management at WIKA Realty, who highlighted the significance of maintaining good health to boost employee productivity. “We hope this event encourages WIKA Realty personnel to become more mindful of their health and adopt healthy lifestyle habits in their daily lives,” he said.

During the keynote session, dr. Edi Setiawan, Sp.PD-KGH, an Internal Medicine Specialist from Mitra Keluarga, explained the importance of maintaining kidney health as a vital organ responsible for filtering blood, balancing bodily fluids, and removing metabolic waste products. He explained that chronic kidney disease often develops without early symptoms, making early detection a critical step in preventing more severe complications. Through his presentation, participants were encouraged to adopt a healthy lifestyle to support kidney health. Simple measures—such as monitoring blood pressure and blood sugar levels, exercising regularly, staying properly hydrated, avoiding smoking, and undergoing routine medical check-ups—serve as vital steps in early kidney disease detection.

As a demonstration of support for employee well-being, WIKA Realty, sponsored by Mitra Keluarga, also provided a Mini Medical Check-Up (MCU) and abdominal ultrasound (USG) screenings for employees. This initiative aims to encourage employees to be more proactive about their health while supporting disease prevention through early screening.
