Jakarta, July 11, 2025 – PT Wijaya Karya Realty (“WIKA Realty”), a subsidiary of PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk (“WIKA”), reaffirmed its commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through a self-development seminar titled “Beyond Words: Transforming Communication into Powerful Presentations.” Held in a hybrid format on Friday (11/07), the seminar took place at the 12th floor of Tamansari Hive Office, East Jakarta, and was attended by more than 250 participants, including the Board of Directors, management, and employees of WIKA Realty. The seminar featured Wahyu Wiwoho—a renowned news anchor, entrepreneur, and communication practitioner—as the keynote speaker.

The event was officially opened by Fery Safaria, President Director of WIKA Realty, who emphasized the vital role of communication skills in both professional and personal life.

“The art of communication is essential in all aspects of life. Moreover, this initiative reflects our strong commitment to SDG 4, by enhancing individual capacity to deliver messages effectively, and SDG 16, by fostering a culture of open, transparent, and integrity-driven communication,” said Fery.

During the main session, Wahyu Wiwoho highlighted that public speaking is not just a technical skill, but an art of creating a strong first impression. “Audiences tend to form their perception within the first nine seconds, and that’s where a speaker plays a key role—establishing a connection and delivering messages effectively right from the start, by structuring clear and concise key messages,” he explained.

The seminar aimed not only to enhance the communication skills of employees, but also to support the implementation of Good Corporate Governance (GCG), especially in interactions with stakeholders, while promoting a transparent and open communication culture. Moreover, it is part of the company’s strategic efforts to strengthen human capital quality—one of the key pillars in WIKA Realty’s future development.

Through this Public Speaking Seminar, WIKA Realty also fulfilled its commitment to Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility (CSER). The company hopes this initiative will help create a more communicative, open, and competitive work ecosystem, while actively contributing to sustainable development in alignment with the SDGs framework.
